Who we are
ConsignLoop provides software that consignment shops use to run their business. For a shop's own customer and consignor data, the shop is the data controller and ConsignLoop is a data processor acting on their instructions. For shop account holders themselves, ConsignLoop is the controller.
What we store and why
Consignor details (name, contact details) so shops can sell items on their behalf and pay them; item and sale records so money owed is calculated correctly; buyer email addresses on online orders so purchases can be fulfilled; staff account details for sign-in; and an audit trail of sensitive actions for security. All money history is kept for six years in line with UK record-keeping requirements.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary, first-party cookies: sign-in sessions and your shopping basket. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and nothing is shared with ad networks, which is why there is no cookie banner.
Who processes data for us
Hosting and storage: Vercel and Neon (databases in the UK/EU). Payments: Stripe (we never see or store card numbers). Email: Resend. Each processes data only to provide their service.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, or erasure. Ask the shop you deal with, or contact us and we will pass the request on. Erasure removes personal details; sale amounts are retained in anonymised form for legal record-keeping.
